Past Grants
2009 was our third year for the Women's Fund of Vanderburgh County and more women than ever before participated. There were 240 members of the fund in 2009, and they contributed $106,000! At the annual meeting, by vote of the membership, the $50,000 grant was awarded to Patchwork Central. We hope everyone will support all four of the finalists, as they are all doing amazing work in our community:

In 2008, the second year for the Women's Fund of Vanderburgh County, the membership awarded $45,000 to the House of Bread and Peace in Evansville. The other three finalists were the Dream Center, Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center, and the Salvation Army.
2007 was the first year for the Women's Fund of Vanderburgh County. The membership voted to award $55,000 to the Boys and Girls Club to build the Cub/Cadet Game Room in the Club's new facilities. The other three finalists were each awarded a $1,000 grant by the Women's Fund: Boom Squad, Echo Community Health, and Holly's House.
