Grantmaking

Each year, the members of the Women's Fund award a grant to a single project serving women or children or both in Vanderburgh County. 2011 was the fifth year for the Women's Fund of Vanderburgh County, and more women than ever before participated. There were 276 members of the fund in 2010, and together their gifts totalled $134,000! At the annual meeting, by vote of the membership, $55,000 was granted to Ark Crisis Child Care Center.
